Our team has been working hard at the residential property in Frettenham over the past few weeks. Last time we updated we had completed the strip out work and were ready to commence the refurbishment.
The refurbishment works started with our team carrying out repairs to some of the ceilings and rebuilding the stud partition walls on the first floor, both of which were damaged. We also carried out some wall repairs within the bathroom, before carrying out some boxing work and replacing the shower screen and taps. Once we had completed the wall repairs, our plasterer was able to skim the walls. This then enabled our painter to come in and paint throughout, including in the kitchen, hallway, stairs, landing, bathroom and bedrooms. The chosen wall colours included a combination of white, grey and sage green.
At this point our electrical colleagues reinstated the electrics and installed a fire detection system within the house, while our plumbing colleagues recommissioned the heating. All that was left to do to complete the refurbishment project was to lay the flooring. We had been asked to lay a wood effect vinyl throughout the house, including in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and hallway. Our team did this before we handed the newly refurbished house back to the client. Another project completed!
