BASE Building Solutions Limited specialises in delivering construction and buildings maintenance projects across the commercial, care home, education and public sectors. Based in Norwich, most projects are completed in and around Norfolk.

Established in 2013, the business has grown steadily based on reputation and the quality of the finished work. Whilst the team’s expertise is very much in demand, the ethos hasn’t changed: “right first time’.

Jon Plunkett

Managing Director

Jon has over fifteen years’ experience working in the construction industry and a further eight years within the engineering industry.

Jon’s career began in process engineering where he became the Engineering Director responsible for a team of 40 engineers leading several multi-million-pound production improvement schemes. With his passion for construction, Jon joined NPS Ltd as a Project Manager to broaden his skill set and commence development of a career within the construction industry.

After several years working on both the client and principal contractor side as a Project Manager Jon realised there was a gap in the market for a construction company with a fresh, modern outlook and set up Base Building Solutions Ltd to follow his dream. Jon’s passion, drive and enthusiasm have helped take a company from a conceptual idea to a team of twenty in the past five years with the philosophy of “communication is key”.

In his spare time Jon enjoys heading to the gym to unwind and spending time with his family and friends.

Paul Webster

Contracts Manager

Paul joined Base Building Solutions three years ago as a site foreman and carpenter, bringing with him twenty years’ experience of working within the fine furniture, joinery and carpentry sectors.

Paul’s move into the construction industry has been seamless and, after gaining a wide variety of new skills to complement his natural leadership skills, Paul was promoted to the position of Contracts Manager.

He is continuing to broaden his skillset and deliver numerous technical projects with precision and a keen eye for detail. Paul is always very keen to ensure our clients receive a positive experience maintaining the philosophy of “communication is key”, often going above and beyond to ensure the best outcomes for all parties within our projects.

Outside of work, Paul likes to spend time with his family, playing golf and coaching a local junior rugby team.

Natasha Butler

Accounts and Office Administrator

Natasha joined Base Building Solutions in 2016 as the Accounts and Office Administrator.  Following eighteen years of working within the banking sector, her background ensures that accuracy and compliance are applied to all aspects of the accounts and administrative needs of the Company.

A key objective for Natasha is to ensure that all Health and Safety requirements are met and exceeded. This is carried out by completing frequent site surveys, arranging training and refresher courses for the whole team as an ongoing process and assessing regular servicing and replacement needs for all PPE and company plant and equipment.

In her spare time Natasha is happiest when with her husband and three children. She is also a keen runner and is usually in training for a race of some kind.
