As the year comes to a close, we are reflecting on the projects that we completed during this time. Earlier in the year, we were invited back to Gorleston to work with our offshore marine services client, who we had previously completed a large office refurbishment for back in 2022. This time they asked us to help us refurbish their Head Office building.
As with the previous project, the work involved refurbishing a number of office, corridor and warehouse areas. We started in the toilet areas and stripped out the existing toilet facilities before replacing the WCs and decorating throughout. We also installed a shower alongside the toilet facilities within the warehouse.
We then worked through the client’s offices, which included the R&D Office, production office, meeting room, accounts office, compliance office and sales office, and we redecorated them and fitted new carpet tiles. The corridors, stairs, lobby and reception areas all had a new coat of paint and flooring too.
We installed a new kitchen in the canteen area, and fitted a new personnel door to the warehouse and a new door to reception. We even built a new office at the top of the mezzanine. While all of this was taking place, our electrical and air conditioning colleagues installed new electrics and lighting, and air conditioning respectively to complete the refurbishment.
