We have just completed our latest project at an industrial estate in Harleston. We were appointed to refurbish two neighbouring warehouses after the previous tenants moved out.
As with all projects, we commenced with the strip out works. This involved removing all the previous tenant’s remaining furniture, fittings, flooring, waste and other materials across the two warehouse units.
Next, we got started on the refurbishment work across both the units. We replaced the windows and two front personnel doors with new anthracite grey PVCu windows and doors. We also installed four new grey roller shutter doors across the front aspect of the two warehouses. Meanwhile our roofing colleagues undertook some minor repairs, which involved repairing downpipes and cleaning the gutters.
Both warehouses required new electrics, so our electrical colleagues removed all the existing lighting before installing new distribution boards and new lighting throughout. We also installed new water heaters above the hand basins.
A white and grey colour scheme had been chosen by the client, so our painters applied white paint to the walls and grey paint to the doors, woodwork and steel frames. We finished the project by applying mid-grey resin to the floors in the warehouses and laid Forbo Carpet tiles, also in mid-grey, in the office in one of the warehouses. Another refurbishment project completed!
