The team have recently been working on a warehouse refurbishment project located on Roundtree Way in Norwich. We were appointed to refurbish the warehouse unit ready for future letting. It was helpful that the work involved was relatively familiar to us, given that we have previously completed refurbishment projects on several other warehouse units on the estate.
We commenced the project with the strip out works. This involved removing the large mezzanine floor which had been put in by previous tenants. We also isolated the services and removed some internal blockwork on the ground floor.
Once we had stripped everything out, we painted the exterior brickwork and installed new external cladding to the front and rear gable end faces of the building. Internally, we used the industrial paint sprayer to paint the warehouse. Meanwhile our electrical colleagues replaced lighting throughout.
After a pause for Christmas, we continued with the external works by replacing new windows and doors, including a new front door and steel personnel door. We also laid a large new tarmac area to the side of the warehouse unit.
We finished the project laying new flooring internally. This included a new resin floor in the warehouse, safety vinyl in the toilet areas and carpet in the first floor office.
