The last three months have seen the team at BASE working on a warehouse and office remodelling project at an unoccupied factory site in Norwich. The project is now complete, following successful sign off from the client.
The project involved us refurbishing the offices and warehouses, plus remodelling several adjoining factory spaces to create an open courtyard for Goods In. With many different specialisms involved, our careful management was crucial for the smooth running of this project.
We worked through a number of key stages. New drainage and mains power were installed, while an electrical and mechanical overhaul of all services took place. We fitted new roofing, and roller shutter and personnel doors. The careful removal of an intricate brick chimney allowed for a new concrete Goods In area to be created. We installed external weather cladding to the warehouses once they had been made weather and watertight. Finally we cleaned and painted all internal areas, including the offices.
We finished the project on time and to specification. We are delighted that the client is happy with the completed works.
