We were asked back to Avenue Junior School recently – this time to assist them with a balcony seating project.  Their school hall featured a balcony with tiered floors and we were asked to add seating to each of the tiers.

On our arrival at the start of the summer holidays, we took delivery of all the seating, which we lifted onto the balcony for installation.  We then built a framework so that we could install the seats.  The school had requested that we did this in four tiers of both five and three seat runs.  After the seating was in place, we completed the project by fitting a new handrail on the balcony edge.

Alongside the balcony seating we completed a series of other projects for the school. We refurbished a corridor area, basement cleaning area and an external store.
