Here at BASE, we are very familiar with working on commercial warehouse refurbishments.  However, our most recent warehouse project was one with a difference.  The unit, which is based in Great Yarmouth, suffered from a severe fire several months ago.  This took hold and unfortunately much of the original building was burnt out.

Over the last three months we have been working hard to restore the warehouse unit back to its original condition.  Initially this meant spending a lot of time stripping out debris from the unit.  Once this was done, we installed a new roof to make the unit water and weather tight.  We also added new doors and windows.  Inside, we spent time rebuilding the offices before fitting them out and installing toilet and kitchen facilities.  We laid floors throughout, including an epoxy resin floor in the warehouse areas.  Alongside all of this, we undertook a complete overhaul of electrical services and installed an air conditioning system.

The finished unit has been signed off by the client.  It is now ready for a new life with new tenants!
