Toilet Refurbishment at Norwich Castle

Completed – April 2019

It’s been a privilege working on our latest project at Norwich Castle Museum. The building dates back to 1067, so it’s by far and away the oldest building we’ve ever worked on!

We were appointed as principal contractor to refurbish the customer toilets located in the lower floors of the Castle Museum.  The works involved stripping out the original toilets before building new cladded walls.  We then installed new cubicles, vanity units, suspended ceilings, flooring, lighting and hand-dryers to complete the works. The result is a very modern and attractive set of customers toilets, now open to the public.

Working in the basement of the Castle provided its challenges for our workforce but nothing they couldn’t overcome. We completed the toilet refurbishment promptly in just six weeks.
