Works are progressing well at the industrial unit that we are refurbishing on the outskirts of Norwich.
Since the last post, where we featured an empty internal shell, things have moved quickly and we now have an extensive mezzanine floor in place spanning the length and breadth of the warehouse. This was erected over the course of the last week and involved us carefully positioning supporting steels on the ground floor before laying the mezzanine itself. The next step will be for us to install partitions on the first floor to create the office accommodation and laboratory space required by the client.
Prior to the mezzanine, we spent time out on the roof repairing it and replacing the roof lights to give it a new lease of life. Also, we have been busy constructing a timber “lean-to” structure to the side of warehouse, which will act as an outside store for the client.
We look forward to sharing more photos and updates as the project progresses.
