Over the last few weeks our team have completed the strip out works at our latest industrial unit project. The unit is one of the larger ones on the industrial estate, so all hands have been on deck to take it back to its former shell.
Before any works could commence, we needed to isolate all the services. Once this was done, our team started the demolition by removing the entire first floor office accommodation. This included taking out the kitchen and toilets, as well as walls, doors, windows, stairs and floors. We then continued onto the ground floor, removing surplus office accommodation but leaving necessary internal walls to create an open plan office going forward. The final area of focus was the main warehouse. We removed the trade counter, lobby, store and storage racks, as well as the stairs and mezzanine in these areas.
With over 10 large skips filled and an empty shell of a unit remaining, the next stage of the project is to move onto the refurbishment works.
