External Works at Care Home

A recent project took us to Attleborough, where we were appointed to complete some external works to a care home.

Part of the works focused on renewing the fascias and gutters around the perimeter of the care home. This involved removing the existing gutters and installing new grey pvc gutters, plus overcladding the existing barge boards in white pvc.

The other main area of the works involved removing windows from 22 of the rooms and replacing them with new aluminium windows.  In addition, we removed and replaced two external doors, made alterations to a bay window and installed four external box lights.

With the works taking place in a fully operational care home, we had to pay particular attention to the project planning to ensure that minimal disruption was caused to residents and staff of the home.
